About Me

Well howdy! I'm Caroline - a twenty-something living in the greatest state in the U.S, gorgeous North Carolina. I work in public relations at a large public university and get to dabble in writing, event planning, media relations and more. I married my absolutely darling husband, Chad, in the spring of 2008 and it was by FAR the best decision I ever made in my life. We are surrounded by two amazing sets of families: His - mom and dad (Chad: an only child without only child syndrome) and Mine - mom and dad plus four siblings (Me: a not only-child with only-child syndrome), two sisters-in-law, and a precious nephew, James.

After about a two-year journey with infertility, we learned in December that we are FINALLY pregnant with our first sweet baby boy. We cannot wait to become parents and expand our own tiny little family.

I grew up in a Christian home, but finally understood and accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior when I was 16. My faith grows stronger year after year and it never ceases to amaze me how constant God's presence is in my life. It overwhelms me. Like many people will say, "I am a big sinner with a bigger savior." I am lucky to be a part of two amazing Bible study groups and Chad and I co-lead a Sunday school class for 2nd and 3rd graders at our church.

I love decorating our new home, cooking something yummy (and sharing recipes and tips with you), writing and reading, and spending time with loved ones. I make it a point to try and have a good laugh every day - living with Chad helps. I say "I love you" often, I am slow to anger and try (as hard as it is as times) to forgive quickly. I think most people who know me would say I'm generally one of the happiest people they know. Life is short - I try to savor every minute of it.

I hope you enjoy this little glimpse into my life.
